We delivered a fully integrated solar control solution for a project defined by its architectural ambition and engineering complexity. At the West Conservatory, we are furnishing and installing custom-engineered bottom-up tensioned skylight shades within one of the most uniquely structured glass roofs in the country—requiring precision-fit perforated metal housings, custom brackets, and smart IP54-rated motors, all anchored to steel purlins within a sloped and irregular skylight geometry. Our solution includes complete network-based Draper automation and low-voltage integration. In the Cascade Garden, crafted skylight shades are tailored to the garden’s smaller yet equally demanding conditions. We’ve navigated irregular roof angles, oversized openings, and intricate drapery specifications, while providing all required low-voltage terminations and commissioning, ensuring seamless operation across varied spaces. This project is a testament to thoughtful coordination, technical rigor, and architectural sensitivity.
